Kosovo Police arrested one suspect for financing terrorism in Kacanik.
Sources from the police stated that the suspect is a Kosovo Albanian male, who administered various payments on behalf of educational scholarship, but used to send Kosovo citizens to join ISIS in Syria.
"Allegedly, payments were made through the suspect to send citizens in Syria. We do not know yet if the money belonged to him, but transactions are made through the suspect", said the source.
Based on Prosecution order, the home of the arrested was also raided, and the Police retrieved material evidence, including electronic devices, flyers and a gun cartridge without bullets.

The number of Kosovo citizens fighting in Syria and Iraq remains unknown, but Lavdrim Muhaxheri is wide-known for his atrocities, shown in a number of online videos. Muhaxheri is from Kacanik.
